The Chukka is an unlined suede ankle boot. The chukka style is named for its resemblance to traditional polo boots (each period of play in polo is called a ‘chukker’). A slim, round-toed boot, it is an ideal casual option with jeans, chinos or cords. It is made from the finest calf suede and is unlined, making it very comfortable during the warmer months. Crafted on Crockett & Jones’ 200 last, the Chukka has a slim profile and round toe. The open lacing of the boot also makes the Chukka a handy option for those with a high instep. Founded in Northampton in 1879, Crockett & Jones a fifth generation family-owned company.
